The Oregon Health Authority (OHA), Public Health Division (PHD), HIV/STD/TB Section in Portland, Oregon is recruiting for a HIV/STD/TB Medical Director to provide scientific and medical consultation, develop guidelines and guidance pertaining to reportable diseases- HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia, and oversee specific epidemiologic projects or grant funded programs which aim to improve population health. This position maintains expertise to educate the public, providers, partners and policy makers through data dissemination, written reports/publications, presentations, and public health recommendations. This position acts as a State Health Advisor-spokesperson for the Section and Agency.
This position is a full-time, permanent, management service (managerial) position. This position is located in Portland, Oregon.
NOTE: Working conditions are a combination of at least on-site (50%) and may include some remote work (50%), with full access to needed operating systems and technology in either location. The Portland State Office Building is located at 800 NE Oregon Street, Portland, OR 97232.

Salary Range: $10,161 - $14,983/month
What are we looking for?
Minimum Requirements
Must meet or be eligible to meet the State of Oregon licensing requirements for a medical doctor (MD) at the time of hire and obtain State of Oregon licensure within six months of hire. Certification must be maintained as a requirement of this position.
