Community Health Nurse II - Maternal & Child Health Home Visiting

Full time opportunity for a Maternal Child Health Nurse to provide home visiting care in the community. The RN in this position will provide services to pregnant clients and their newborns through two years of age. This role is perfect for a nurse with a passion for maternal-child health who has strong interpersonal and case-management skills. This RN will build and maintain a caseload of approximately 25 clients who the nurse will support in goal-setting, life-course progression, pregnancy and child-development education and skill building. Therapeutic communication and empathic listening are keys to success in this role as well as comfort with home visiting and working with families from diverse backgrounds with many psychosocial needs.
