The Housing Navigator will be part of a diverse team, including Health Department staff and community organizations serving populations experiencing unsheltered homelessness, to create and support a person-centered housing action plan for people enrolled in Benton County’s Flexible Housing Subsidy Pool. The position is located within the Health Department in the Healthy Communities Division.

Additional core functions include:

  • Help support households move into housing and provide housing retention services after move in to ensure that participants successfully retain their housing over time. 
  • Work creatively and collaboratively with property owners/managers and case management services to prevent eviction and housing-related issues that could jeopardize the housing stability of program participants. 
  • Provide onsite services to program participants living in scattered-site settings throughout Benton County. 
  • Work closely with housing navigation staff and services that accompany participants from referring community partners to fill gaps or act as the primary housing navigator when appropriate and needed.
